Although it’s their duty to care for and protect patients, sometimes physicians do not live up to their expectations. This can result in injuries that otherwise could’ve been prevented. Recovery is important for both your physical and mental well-being. However, there is more to a malpractice case than the patient getting hurt. You may have to prove two key factors to determine whether or not you have a case:
- A doctor or another medical professional made a mistake
- You were harmed by that mistake
Medical malpractice cases can be long and draining for both you and your wallet, however it is important to not let the potential stress and costs deter you from taking action. Contact us to see if you have a strong case.

After an accident, insurance companies may call you to ask you questions regarding the severity of the accident and your injuries. This call is often made before you’ve had the opportunity to speak with an attorney. An attorney is hired to guide and educate you about your rights and the “dos and don’ts” of the case.
It is important that you do not give these companies any information regarding you or the accident without an attorney present, as it is their responsibility to inform and protect you. Although you do have an obligation to report an accident as soon as it happens, you are not required to give information, regardless of what they may tell you.
